Welcome to The Clay Studio. By accessing our website and booking our workshop services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
1. General
These terms govern your use of our website (theclaystudio.lk) and workshop booking services. By using our services, you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to comply with them.
2. Booking and Confirmation
- Workshop bookings are made through our website
- You will receive a confirmation email once your booking is confirmed
- Some workshops require a minimum number of participants; if the minimum is not reached, the workshop may be cancelled
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion
3. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR)
- Prices include all materials required for the workshop
- Payment can be made via cash, card at the studio, or online through PayHere
- We use PayHere as our payment gateway and do not store your complete payment details
- We reserve the right to modify prices at any time; however, confirmed bookings will be honored at the price quoted at the time of booking
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information about cancellations and refunds.
5. Workshop Participation
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled workshop time
- Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty
- Children under 12 years must be accompanied by a participating adult
- We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who is disruptive or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
6. Items Created
- Pottery items created during workshops belong to you
- Items requiring glazing and firing will be ready for collection within 1-2 weeks
- Items not collected within 30 days may be disposed of without notice
- We are not responsible for items damaged during the firing process due to the inherent nature of ceramics
7. Liability
- Participation in pottery workshops involves certain risks
- You participate at your own risk and responsibility
- We are not liable for any personal injury, except where caused by our negligence
- We are not liable for damage to clothing or personal belongings
- We make no warranties regarding the outcome of items created during workshops
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of The Clay Studio and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.
9. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
